David Lee is a San Francisco public servant and educator running for the California Assembly. He needed a logo that was not only eye-catching and distinctive among fellow candidates but also represented him as a leader.
The logo features 19 rays symbolizing David’s work and values as an educator, leader, and public servant within District 19. In the middle of the rays is a classic five-pointed star, symbolizing guidance, protection, and hope. The star is also a well-known element on the California flag and is used on the U.S. flag to represent the 50 states. The typeface was chosen for its clean, bold, and modern sans-serif features.
