A conceptual project translating the philosophy of architect Frank Gehry's work into cards, a book, and a poster. The piece portrays how Gehry’s architecture interacts with and intervenes in its surroundings while remaining completely utilitarian in its purpose.
The interaction and intervention occur in the structure of the piece. The poster folds and serves as a cover for the book pages, which are formatted as a double-sided accordion that holds a card between each page. When assembled, all the pieces are secured with two round-head fasteners. Because the pages and poster are folded into the composition, the contents cannot be fully read at first glance, serving as an intervention. This design prompts readers to interact with the piece by deconstructing it to view the text and design completely.
